- He who does not have these divine virtues growing within him is blind. The Lord wants to give you a strong light in the Word, but you do not want to see. You are only looking at what is close at hand, looking at your needs, becoming spiritually short-sighted, unable to see what the light of God wants to show you (2 Peter 1:9).
- We cannot fail to be clear about the basic things of a Christian life. Therefore, let us work in this land that is our heart, seeking to be increasingly diligent in the Word of life, being together with those who closely follow the Word of life, immersing ourselves, taking notes, making war cries, transcribing and preaching the gospel of the kingdom (2 Peter 1:10).
- Be careful not to stray from the word of God, because if you do, you run the risk of stumbling. But if you seek with ever-increasing diligence, you will have the manifestation of the kingdom of heaven, which only the overcomers will enter into. Let us not be idle! Let us not fail to follow closely the prophetic speaking; run after the word, and your entrance into the kingdom will be amply supplied (2 Peter 1:11).
- “Those who live in darkness stumble easily. They may even stumble when immersing themselves in the word, when making war cries, and even when listening to the prophetic word. If this is your condition, change your direction. If in your heart you cannot love your brother and sister, it is because you are in darkness and do not know where you are going, because the darkness has blinded your eyes” (Matthew 13:15) (Daily Food, Book 1, Week 4, Sunday, p. 72).
