DAILY IMMERSION IN THE PROPHETIC WORD Sunday | Mess. 23 – The resurrection of Jesus

  1. After His ascension to the Father, Jesus presented Himself resurrected to His disciples, and they received the Spirit of truth, thus becoming an extension of Jesus. We, like the disciples, will continue Jesus’ mission on earth, which is the building of the house of God and the headship of all things in Him (John 20:17-23, Is 53:10, Eph 1:9, 10).
  2. God created us with a unique ability: to contain God. When we receive Him, we also receive His power. God, the super-capable One is within man. The capable person does not need to be you, but God! He works His ability through His word (Heb 2:6-10, 2 Cor 4:7, Is 55:10,11).
  3. What will define our glory in the future is whether or not we are faithful to God today, whether or not we do His will. When our life on earth ends, our chance to gain more glory ends. So let the word of truth fill you (1 Cor 15:36-49).
  4. The disciple Thomas missed the first appearance of the Lord and therefore did not believe the reports of the other disciples who had seen the resurrected Lord. Beloved, do not miss church meetings, for that is where the Lord appears to you (John 20:24-31, Heb 10:25, Mt 18:20).
