Every natural man has an opinion and builds a castle with his reasoning and arguments to back his opinion. Thus, Christ cannot reign. When we are filled with the living word of God, our ego is nullified by the effectiveness of the cross, the stronghold in our mind is torn down, and our thoughts begin to obey Christ (1 Cor 10:4-6). What we do for the Lord is never a waste; it will never be enough to recompense what He did for us. We need to preach the gospel and gain people who have the same gratitude and love to invest time and energy for the Lord Jesus. We need to generate more “Marys” who have this feeling of consecration. This is what the Lord deserves (Mark 14:3-9). Message 10 (ICFEB/24)
“We are His workmanship.” Workmanship in Greek is “poiema” and means specialized labor to build the house of God. He is preparing us to build the church. God wants us to build the church. Pouring out the fragrant oil is not a waste. More than ever we must give our best to the Lord (Eph 2:10). Message 10 (IC-FEB/24)
The Lord called the last-hour workers to do things outside of the conventional way. We need to have the willingness to abandon the old religious structure that prevents us from moving forward and becoming free to follow the direction of the Spirit, through the word.
