DAILY IMMERSION IN THE PROPHETIC WORD Thursday | Mess. 01 – A Retrospective on the History of the Church in the First Century

To this day, on the one hand, Christ is seated at the right hand of God, but on the other, He is active, taking care of the churches as the Chief Shepherd. He is taking care of those that the Father has given Him, and will take care of them to the end (Rev 1:12-13; John 10:29).
The word is the main tool that God uses to sanctify the church. The word of God is truth itself, because it comes from the Only True God (John 17:17; Eph 5:25-26).
The word of God needs to be alive and dwell in us, to be engraved in our hearts. This is how God can sanctify us. We need to place our entire lives around the word of God (John 6:63; Col 3:16).
“By being crucified, Christ conquered everything on the cross: sin, the self, the world, the old man, and the devil, thus obtaining the authority to forgive. Christ gained complete victory!” (Daily Food, Book 1, Week 3, Thursday, page 46).
