DAILY IMMERSION IN THE PROPHETIC WORD Thursday | Mess. 18 – The Spirit of Truth Will Guide Us into All Truth

Jesus mentioned to His disciples that after His death and resurrection, they would suffer persecution and opposition from the Pharisees, just as He had suffered. This shows that, with the suffering and persecution we are suffering today, we are on the right path (John 15:20; 16:1-4).
The Lord needs us! Our responsibility today, as the church, is to preach the gospel of the kingdom. He needs to be preached to the entire inhabited earth for the end to come. It was for this reason that the Lord woke us up and gave us the motivation to take to the streets. The Lord moved us to leave between four walls to go after people in the streets! (Mt 24:14).
Our responsibility is the gospel of the kingdom, a word that governs people’s lives. The Lord, then, gave us immersion in the prophetic word so that we can be focused on doing God’s will, being friends with the Lord and knowing His heart (Mt 24:14; Eph 5:18-19; Col 3:16; John 15:14-15).
Jesus did not come into the world to do mighty works based on His own ability in order to be applauded and praised by men. On the contrary, He humbled Himself and was obedient to God to the point of death, even the death on a cross, which is the worst kind of death. This way of Jesus is the way approved by God; and He wants you and me to walk the same path (Phil 2:5-11) (Daily Food, Book 5, Week 4, Thursday, pg. 65/66).
