DAILY IMMERSION IN THE PROPHETIC WORD Thursday | Mess. 20 – The Glorious Oneness Between God and Man

When the glory of God shines upon us through Christ, the very substance of God is stamped upon our hearts. When we inculcate the word of God in us, God Himself is engraved in our hearts (Heb 1:3; Deut 6:6-7).
God wants to crown us with glory and honor. What a privilege! However, glory does not just represent beauty, but is productive and has might and power to carry out God’s work (Col 1:10-11).
The purpose of God’s work is to bring us into His glory and the result is oneness. This work is slow and gradual and, as we immerse ourselves in the word, this might is applied to us and thrusts us into the glory of God (John 17:22-23).
The lesson that Jesus wanted to teach His disciples was for them not to limit themselves to human logic, because with Him it is always possible to accomplish things beyond what is natural and earthly! (John 14:12) (Daily Food, Book 6, Week 2, Thursday, p. 32).
