DAILY IMMERSION IN THE PROPHETIC WORD Tuesday | Mess. 05 – The Emergence of the Root of the Church’s Degradation in the Second Century

The great villain of the degradation of the church at the end of the first century was not giving due value to the prophetic word spoken by the apostles (Pr 29:18, KJ).
The church is not governed by a majority as in human democratic government. It is governed by the Holy Spirit Himself through the word. If we understand this and follow the word closely, the work will go forward (Acts 2:42-47).
God governs His church by granting the revelation of Jesus Christ to His servant (as it was with the apostle John), who has the responsibility of being a faithful transmitter of the word to His group of servants, the messengers who transmit this received word to all the brothers and sisters in the churches (Rev 1:1; 2 Tim 2:2).
“Let us be those who remain, even when we do not understand everything clearly. Let us remember: believing is seeing, not seeing is believing!” (Daily Food, Book 2, Week 3, Tuesday, page 44).
