DAILY IMMERSION IN THE PROPHETIC WORD Tuesday | Mess. 20 – The Glorious Oneness Between God and Man
Outwardly, Jesus had the shell of humanity but within Him was divinity. When the Lord died on the cross, the shell was split and, in the resurrection, divine life was manifested. This process points to the glorification of Jesus as a man (John 12:24; 17:5; Acts 13:33).
Jesus was approved by God, because He did nothing of Himself, He did not speak His own words nor did He seek His own will and glory. Rather, He carried out the will of the Father (Acts 2:22).
Jesus was glorified by God in His resurrection and became His Firstborn Son. He was the first man who received glory and honor, in order to lead the other children of God to glory (Heb 2:9-10).
While on Earth, Jesus was the Word itself. When He spoke, miracles occurred and God’s work was accomplished (John 1:14) (Daily Food, Book 6, Week 2, Tuesday, p. 27).
