DAILY IMMERSION IN THE PROPHETIC WORD Wednesday | Mess. 01 – A Retrospective on the History of the Church in the First Century

If you only listen to the word of the Lord in its logic, you will only capture things limited to the dimension of time and space in which we live. But, if we go to the realm of the spirit, it can reveal superior things, which logic does not see and the rational cannot follow (Rev 4:1-2; 1 Cor 2:9-10).
The reason for the great advancement of the church in its beginning was the word of God. He uses His word to give direction to the church. This word is always a revelation and becomes the direction for the church and His government (Gal 1:11-12).
Everything that Jesus did and said on earth had its origin in God, the Father. If the origin is man, in his ability and capacity, at most a human work will be carried out. But God’s work is accomplished only when words and actions come from the Only True God (John 17:3, 7-8).
“Christ, as the Spirit, will only lead us if we allow Himself to fill us. When He fills each of us, the church will be filled with Christ to the fullness of God” (Daily Food, Book 1, Week 3, Wednesday, p. 44).
