- We were alien to the life of God and had no access to Him. Suddenly, God sends the Word of life, which is a Person, Christ Himself who became a man to be seen, contemplated, touched by people, and everyone who believes in Him does not perish, but gains eternal life. (John 3:16).
- The Word of life is Christ Himself, the eternal life that God wants to give to man. The apostle John announces Christ in a concrete way as a real Person with whom he had real, personal and intimate experiences. The Word became flesh and dwelt among us full of grace and truth. (John 1:14).
- In the sick woman’s healing experience, we can see that Jesus was someone who could be touched. However, on that occasion, many touched Jesus’ body, but only one person touched His life. Jesus was life itself and could transmit it to everyone who touched Him with faith. (Mark 5:24b-34).
- Jesus never had pride in His heart, but only did the will of the Father; He never behaved inappropriately, never sought His own glory nor did His own work. (John 6:38). (Daily Food, Book 5, Week 1, Wednesday, page 13).
