- God wants to gain hearts and in them to sow the incorruptible seed of His kingdom. The evil one will use his weapons to impede this. Satan desires to destroy our heart, yet God desires to gain it in order to establish His kingdom on the Earth (Matt 3:19).
- We were saved and received the incorruptible seed in our heart. Nevertheless, it still remains confined to our spirit and needs to find space to grow in our entire being, represented by our heart (Matt 13:20-23).
- The space in our heart depends on one of two things: either we love the world or we love God. In order to overcome the evil one, we need the Word of God to abide in us. Through the transcription of the word and immersion in it, we cause it to dwell richly in us and thus to fill our heart (1 John 2:14- 15).
- “The Lord, with a single word, enabled them to catch all those fish. He showed that He was capable of providing for them. The same happens today. If He calls us to serve Him, let us not be worried about sustenance” (Daily Food, Volume 6, Week 4, Wednesday, page 64).
