DAILY IMMERSION IN THE PROPHETIC WORD Wednesday | Mess. 18 – The Spirit of Truth Will Guide Us into All Truth

Today the Lord has a group of people He can trust, a group of “servants”, and even more than this, His “friends”. A servant does not seek recognition, he has no ambition for position, but simply aims to please his master. We have heard the voice of the Lord, carried out His commands, and served Him all these years (John 15:15).
The Lord wants us to go one step further: in addition to being faithful servants, He wants us to be His friends. A servant does not know what his master wants to do unless he orders him, while friends know each other’s hearts (John 15:14-15).
The Lord is forming a group of friends of Jesus! Let us love every opportunity to hear the voice of the Lord, this has made a huge difference between us. Friends are the fruitful branches, which are connected to the vine (John 15:14-16; Mark 4:10-11).
In serving God, we can choose the path of Jesus, which is one of total dependence on the Father, or the path of Lucifer, which is based on our own ability (2 Cor 3:5) (Daily Food, Book 5, Week 4, Wednesday, page 63).
