DAILY IMMERSION IN THE PROPHETIC WORD Wednesday | Mess. 23 – The resurrection of Jesus

By the blood of Jesus our sins were forgiven, we were justified and reconciled with God. The blood, therefore, treats a negative situation of sin and man’s disruption with God. For this problem there was no solution but one: Jesus needed to shed His blood in our place (Is 59:1-3 John 19:34-35, 1 John 1:7- 9).
What is the objective of the Lord Jesus’ work on the cross? To make man live to do the will of God (2 Cor 5:15, Eph 1:9-10).
After His death, resurrection and glorification, Jesus became the Spirit of Truth, who fills the inner being of everyone who believes in Him. The objective of the Spirit of Truth is to fill us with reality, eliminating all the emptiness that exists within us. He will not “calm down” until He completes this work in us! (John 7:37-39, John 14:17, 1 Cor 15:45, Eph 3:19, Phil 1:6).
The church in Philadelphia restores the walls because it does not doubt that, in its midst, there is a channel chosen by God to bring the prophetic word, which gives direction to the churches. Because it has little strength, it does not trust in itself, but in the word that comes from the prophet’s mouth (Rev 3:7-8) (Adapted – Daily Food, Book 1, Week 1, Wednesday, page 12).
