1. Our children and teenagers are praying for people and immersing themselves in the Word. Let’s take this example and catch fire too. Let’s open our hearts and surrender to the Lord, that He may have a way in us (Mt 18:3; 1 Jn 2:13-14; Ps 51:10; Eze 11:19).
2. The pressure of preaching the gospel on the streets leads you to depend more on the Lord, to step out of the ordinary and experience and see the supernatural (Rom 5:3-4; 2 Kgs 6:15-17).
3. The word of God does the work of God and teaches us to behave wisely, filling us with the Spirit. Immersion in the Word is a gift from God to each of us (Col 4:5; 3:16; Eph 5:18-19).
4. “We need the word as a vehicle that brings God Himself to man. When we hear the word, it is necessary to open our heart to believe; this is exercising faith. When we exercise faith by hearing the word, that faith grants us access to all that God is and has.” (Daily Food, Book 1, Week 4, Monday, pg. 56).
