1. Jesus was God Himself and through obedience He became a man to carry out the work entrusted to Him by the Father. In His ministry, Jesus left us a profound principle: the Son can do nothing by Himself.
2. Lucifer took a path opposite to Jesus, the way of self-capacity. Before his rebellion, he was a prince who held the highest position in the pre-Adamic world. He must have used all his wisdom, beauty and ability to serve God. He probably did an excellent job and was proud of it. When man thinks he is capable of working for God, he will inevitably be contaminated by pride.
3. Ambition leads man to always want higher positions. Lucifer reached the point of wanting to be similar to the Most High. This was the path taken by him, Satan, God’s adversary.
4. “Today, on the imminence of the Lord’s return, when we look at past centuries, we realize how much Satan worked to prevent the church from being built. The religious way in which many dealt with the church was also a trick of the enemy so that Christians would not experience the reality of the kingdom of heaven. Satan knows that the edified church puts an end to his empire.”
