DAILY IMMERSION Saturday | Message 04 –The Reconstruction of the Temple and the Walls of Jerusalem

1. The government of the church is not abstract, but comes through the headship of Christ. The word establishes God’s government in the church. Who gives direction to the church? The word. Who gives revelation of the order for the church to execute? The word (1 Cor 1:2; Col 1:24; Eph 1:9-10, 22-23; Col 3:16).

2. To fill the church, Christ gave apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers to perfect the saints for the edification of the church, to produce this fabric of love, a well-knit, adjusted and consolidated body, growing in the love of God, to build the sanctuary dedicated to the Lord. (Eph 4:11- 12).

3. The apostle Paul was the dispenser of grace and God entrusted him to be this channel. While Paul dispensed grace, this word commanded the church and governed it, supplying it with life and making God’s work happen. (Eph 3:2; Titus 1:5).

4. On his travels, the apostle Paul preached the gospel, built churches, and appointed elders and deacons (supervisors) to shepherd the flock of God. (Eph 3:2; Titus 1:5).
