1. We need to be headed up by Christ, being filled with Him, through the Word, until we reach the fullness of God.
2. Through immersion in the Word, Christ takes up residence in our hearts, and thus He rules our minds, wills, and emotions. In time, we will be fully dominated by Christ!
3. It is through the church that Christ will be able to head up all things and punish all disobedience. This is our responsibility as a church.
4. When we do immersion in the word, we not only gain a little knowledge, but the essence of God is engraved in our heart. The more we enjoy the word, the more it is engraved in our hearts.
