1. Our preaching of the gospel is not out of interest, but out of love for people. It is a spontaneous reaction to the life we receive. We cannot accommodate ourselves behind four walls and remain insensitive to the call of reproductive life, which is within us, and wants to bring life to others, a source welling up to eternal life.
2. Reaping means harvest the fruit of sowing, which is doing the final work of preaching the gospel of the kingdom, so that the end may come. We are the last hour workers. For twenty centuries, many preached the gospel, now it is up to us to reap. It’s not just preaching the gospel to get people out of hell; but the gospel of the kingdom, so that people can live in the church, led by Christ, together with us. We will reap what we did not sow and build the Body of Christ.
3. If you are one of these, who are taking care of those the Lord has trusted, providing support at the right time, be sure that when the Lord returns, He will entrust all His possessions to you. Therefore, one is a Sower and the other is a Reaper. The Lord sent us to reap what we did not sow. Others worked and we joined their work. In the 21st century, in the history of the church, many have sown and, today, at the eleventh hour, we will reap the harvest. I want to be one of those reapers. Let’s harvest the harvest and bring the Lord back.
4. “In this final stretch, there can be no room among us for ambition, envy, jealousy and contention. Even if we have weaknesses, we need to support each other. If we are not careful, we will take steps backwards, when we should be moving forward, cohesive, supporting and praying for each other. May our unity and companionship increase more and more so that no one is left in the way.
