DAILY IMMERSION Thursday | Mess. 11: The Waldensians – The Golden Line of God’s Grace

1. How to deal with sin? If I am sporadically overcome by sin, I need to repent and confess before God. If you confess them with a repentant heart, God is faithful and just to forgive and cleanse from all unrighteousness. Final point. However, if we touch death, we will be unclean for a while.

2. From among the people of Israel, God chose a tribe of priests to serve Him – the tribe of Levi. If someone from another tribe presented himself with a very big heart to consecrate himself and serve the Lord, whether for a period or for life, it was necessary to take a vow of Nazarite. Today, this must be our yearning: “I want to be a Nazarite to serve the Lord all my life!”.

3. While the Nazarite vow lasts, we cannot touch death. We are holy and separated unto the Lord. A Nazarite cannot defile himself with the death of either his father or mother or anyone in his family. Death is negative talk. A rebellious speech and against the authority of God.

4. What does the word of death mean? It is speaking against the authority that God has established, negatively criticizing, for not accepting someone that God has established as an authority. Let us be careful! If we go against this line of authority, we are going against the authority of Christ and God Himself. It is rebellion, it is leprosy.
