1. God’s will is to bring all things together in Christ. The church, the Body of Christ, is God’s means of making Christ the Head of all creation. When Christ is the Head, God’s will is carried out. First, Christ will fill the church and through it will head up all things.
2. Christ’s headship over the church does not come through mere teachings, which become an imposition, as they do not bring reality. God needs to fill you with Christ! The time exists for Him to do this work and it will no longer be useful when God heads up everything in Christ.
3. Christ needs to dwell in our hearts in order for Him to be our Head indeed. Let’s invite Him to dwell in our minds, occupy our thoughts, becoming their content until they dominate. Invite Christ to dwell also in your emotion, which is so fragile without Him. Our will also needs to be headed up in Christ. We cannot make decisions for ourselves, but Christ in our will shall make decisions for us.
4. “Putting on the new man is not mere doctrine, but a “change of person”. We used to live in the old man, in our worn out human virtues, but now we live in the new man, in the elevated human virtues of Christ!”.
