1. God’s people are governed by His word (Dt 18:18; Num 9:15-23; Ps 147:15).
2. The main sin of the people of Israel was not listening to what the Lord said. The absence of God’s government brought desolation to Jerusalem and its walls were torn down (Neh 1:5-9).
3. Keeping the word of the Lord is putting it into practice. If you listen and practice, you will receive blessings; but if you turn your back and criticize, you will receive a curse (Neh 1:5-9; Lv 26:3,14-15, 27:34; Mt 7:24-27).
4. There is nothing that can resist the power of the resurrection! Believe! If your family or your marriage seems to be lackluster or in a dying condition, put an end to this situation, because the resurrection is available to you: your third day has arrived! We are connected with heaven (John 2:11; Rev 4:1-2, 5) (Daily Food, Book 3, Week 4, Tuesday, p. 59).
