1. God only has one speaking in the church: the prophetic word. Satan wants to offer a menu of many “words”, but the church only has this one word. The prophetic word can be felt, seen, contemplated. This is the word of life! It’s not a lecture essay, it’s a living person! It is life itself!
2. The apostle John announced what he saw, heard and announced. The prophetic word does not originate from the prophet. The prophet is merely a messenger, and he must be faithful to convey the very word of life. The expression “fellowship with us” refers to fellowship with the apostles. The prophetic word brings fellowship and promotes the circulation of life among the members of the Body of Christ.
3. The apostle is not the source, he is not the origin. The apostle is a channel. The source, the origin, is the Father and His Son Jesus Christ. The apostle is only responsible for connecting the Body with the source. Therefore, do not place the prophet on the level of God. Never exalt the prophet excessively, because the source is God the Father. We need to honor our guides, the prophet used by God, but not idolize. We must not exalt him above what he really is: he is a man, a member of the Body of Christ.
4. “A relevant point that must be considered in the letters to the churches of Revelation is that they were all written to the angel of the Church, not to the presbyters. The angels represent the messengers, indicating that God was no longer looking for those who had some title or position in the church, but whoever had reality”.
