1. Our questions regarding God’s choice take away our simplicity and prevent us from obeying His word that comes through the channel chosen by Him (Nm 12:1-16; 2 Cor 11:3).
2. If we do not believe, just like some of the people of Israel who murmured in the desert, we will return to slavery in Egypt. But if we believe in the word, we will enter the good land, promised by God to us (Nm 12:1-2; 14:1-12, 21-31,16:12-14, 28).
3. When we despise the word, we do not despise the prophet, but the Lord Himself who speaks through him (Nm 12:1-16; 14:1-12, 21-31,16:12-14, 28; Lc 13: 34,35).
4. Being involved in God’s will brings the Lord’s blessing upon our home. And this blessing restores our satisfaction and happiness (Dt 30:19) (Daily Food, Book 3, Week 4, Wednesday, p. 62).
