1. The Word, which is Christ, gives meaning to human life (Heb 11:3).
2. The world was made by the Word. It came into the world, it was in the world, but the world did not know it. Men should have received it with open arms, but they rejected it, because the natural man does not accept and does not understand the things of God (Heb 11:3; John 1:1-4, 10-11, 14; 1 Co 2: 14) .
3. Religious leaders, Jews and even some disciples were unable to receive Jesus’ words because human concepts limited their understanding. (John 6:53-63).
4. When the donkey decides not to obey, no one can make it walk. In our natural man we are all useless for the will of God, as we are stubborn, opinionated, with strong egos. However, in the Lord, this donkey has hope (Gen 49:11-12) ( Daily Food, Book 3, week 3, Wednesday, page 46 ).
