DAILY IMMERSION Wendnesday | M19 The New Man’s Tender Affections of Mercy

God’s elect are chosen to be holy and blameless in Him. There is only one way to be holy and blameless: to live in the new man. As God’s elect, we have an incorruptible, undefiled, unfading, inheritance reserved in heaven. (Eph 1:4, 1 Pet 1:4, 5)
To reach the final salvation, the salvation of our soul, we need to go through tribulations so that the purity of our faith is tested by fire, because what resists fire truly is from God. It’s no use deceiving ourselves and living a seemingly wonderful Christian life and arriving at that day without being approved by fire. (1Co 3:10-17)
We need to allow our works to go through the fire today, so that when the Lord returns, we are not surprised to not even be recognized by Him. Trials will authenticate our faith. Gold bars need to be authenticated, it is necessary to prove that there is only pure gold there. On that day, the Lord will need to see the authentication of our faith! So today we pass through fire. (1 Pet 1:6-9, Matt 7:22-23)
The Lord needs the elect and faithful, not only to build up the church, but also to fight for His kingdom as an army. Who will pick up people on the streets? The elect! Who will take care of them in the church? Also, the elect. Therefore, the Lord really needs us today. But He also needs us as an end-times army. (Rev 17:14).
