- Little children are those who are in the initial phase of their Christian life. They need to know clearly about the forgiveness of sins. For us, it is enough to confess our sins, and He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. However, for God to receive a sinner like us, much had to be done. We were prevented from having access to God, who is life, because we did not meet the demands of God’s holiness and righteousness. Through the forgiveness of sins, we have access to Him again. Christ has already placed our flesh and old man on the cross. From this, we can walk in the spirit, placing our minds in the spirit through the word. Sin is not only a moral issue, but its greatest harm is being cut off from the fellowship of life. Knowing the forgiveness of sins is important for us to always remain in the fellowship of the Body and in the circulation of life (1 John 1:9; Heb. 4:15-16; Rom. 7:14; 8:1-3, 6).
- Fathers are those who are in the last stage of Christian life, those that have maturity. They are those who truly take on the responsibility of shepherding the sheep with the word, those who shepherd the flock of God. They have a mature life, which drives them to care for the flock out of love. They are a reference and a standard for others in the church. They give stability to the house of God. They are reliable and solid because they know the One who exists from the beginning and whom there is no variation or shifting shadow. They are stable and have a mature life, with the same characteristics of God. They do not variate or hesitate. The Lord has raised up fathers in the church. We are extremely safe with mature people like this in church leadership (1 John 2:13; 1 Peter 5:2-5; James 1:17).
- We have young ones to fight against the Evil One, who uses the world as a weapon to fight against the will of God. The world system dominates the politics, economy, religion and culture of all peoples and nations. We belong to God, and the world lies in the power of the Evil One. God justified us to give us life and to reign over us and through us in life. God is reigning in His church through the circulation of life. God’s will is to uproot us from this world. The first church that was created was not influenced by the world. It persevered in the teaching of the apostles, maintaining the circulation of life through fellowship in the word. There was no hierarchy, and money did not dominate them. Thus, the church grew. It is possible for us to live this reality today! We overcome the Evil One through the word! (1 John 2:14-17; 5:19; Eph. 6:12; Rom. 5:17-18; Matt. 20:25-28; Gal.1:4).
