- There is a battle going on between two kingdoms: the kingdom of God, which is a kingdom of life, and the kingdom of Satan, which only brings death through lies, the world, and its lusts. Nevertheless, in the midst of this war, God is forming an army of holy youth, a generation that is emotionally resilient, does not fall for any reason, persists in the fellowship of life, and is being filled with the truth, which is Christ (Ps 110:3; 1 John 2:16-17).
- Through the experience of the cross, the power and efficacy of Christ’s death and resurrection were added to the holy anointing oil, which is the Spirit. When we serve the Lord according to His will, we have a good conscience and sense the anointing flowing from us, because it has the Lord’s presence and represents His approval. Thus, we experience peace and joy! (1 John 2:27; Exodus 30:23-25; John 7:37-39; 1 Tim. 1:18-20; 1 Tim. 4:1-2).
- The anointing indicates the presence of the Lord. There is nothing better than serving the Lord while having His presence and His rest, just as God promised Moses: “My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” Serving the Lord involves many struggles and much labor, but the One who does the work for us is the presence of the Lord. We need to learn to work in rest! (Ex 33:12-15).
- When we are born of the Spirit, the anointing begins to indwell our spirit and teaches us to abide in Christ. He wants us to invite Him to live in our hearts, to invade our souls completely, and to fill us with truth. Therefore, let us listen with faith to the word we have received, instill it in our hearts, and live a life of holiness, righteousness, and love in the edification of the church (1 John 2:28; John 3:5-8; 1:12; 2 Cor 5:8-10; Rom 12:2; Eph 3:17-19; John 15:2-7; Heb 4:2-3; 1 Thess 3:12-13).
