1. God alone possesses immortality and dwells in unapproachable light. We have no ability to reach Him, but Christ, as the brightness of Glory, brought Him to us. However, for man to receive Him, it is necessary to prepare the way: man needs to see who he really is and present himself humble and contrite. Thus, even without being able to draw near to God, He, who is glory itself, brings it to us, through Christ, who engraves in us the essence and substance of God in our hearts.
2. Unfortunately, John the Baptist, initially a Spirit-filled man, someone “out of the box”, ended his career deceived by fame and envy. This demonstrates that human nature is unreliable. By the earthly method, by the light of the first day, we are incorrigible! Rules of conduct do not change us. Our salvation is the light of life, the light of the fourth day. We need to believe in the prophetic Word and allow it to circulate among us and be engraved in our hearts.
3. Make no mistake, if there are gaps in our lives, we will not be headed by Christ, we may at some point give up following the career. The only way for man to become trustworthy is to be fully filled with Christ. By immersion and war cries, we inculcate the Word and preach the gospel to be filled up to the fullness of God. We were created as a vessel, to contain God the All Mighty, He fills us with His power, wisdom and ability. You don’t need to be capable or wise to do the work, but just allow yourself to be filled by the One who is capable, wise and does the work: Christ! The Church that allows itself to be filled is a reliable Church, just like Philadelphia.
