DYNAMIC IMMERSION – M5 In Him Was Life, And the Life Was the Light of Men

The Word is God. Therefore, it not only brings the thoughts of God, but He Himself to us. Christ is the Word of life, and He is also the very eternal life which was with the Father and was manifested to us. Christ is not only the Word that communicates God’s life to man, but He Himself is the eternal life that man receives through thebWord (Jn 1:1-4; 1 Jn 1:1-2).
Just as the blood running through our blood vessels keeps us alive, the divine life is transmitted to all members of the Body of Christ through the Word. Through it, we receive food and oxygen to live and function in the church, so that God fulfills His will to make Christ the head of all things (Gn 9:4-5; Jn 6:53-54, 57, 63; Ep. 1:9-10).
Many think that the word of the Bible as doctrine is life, but if it does not run in the Body, it becomes death. The prophetic word must circulate among the members of the Body of Christ. If there is too much idle word, it becomes mere knowledge that kills. Immersion in the Word, speaking among ourselves, circulates it among the members in the Body. A dead doctrine does not bring circulation of life, but the Word as eternal life makes us active and fruitful for the will of God (Jn 6:63; 2 Co 3:6; Ep 5:18-19; Co 3:16).
