Mess. 03: The Works of the “Prophetess”Jezebel.

Word given by brother Pedro Dong, transmitted by Instituto Vida para Todos directly from São Palmas – To, Brazil, on 05/28/2023. Text not revised by the author.

  1. This message is within the message set “He who has an ear, let him hear!”, which is based on the seven letters sent to the seven churches in the book of Revelation chapters two and three. In reviewing church history, we are reviewing our own history. Perhaps you are not clear on what has happened in church history over these twenty centuries. Let’s give it an orientation, a sense of location, like a GPS. We are going to have a roadmap of adverse situations experienced by the church, in order to locate today where we are and where we are going, in addition to how long it will take to reach the destination. This is important to realize many things that we still don’t understand and why we went through various situations in the past. The Lord’s return is very close and we have no more time to waste. The Lord needs to put in you a heart of urgency. He’s counting on you and the church in Philadelphia. Much time has already been lost, as the church has spent twenty centuries in disrepair. Thank God! He has restored His church.

Eph 1:9-10; Mt 24:14

  1. We need to talk a little about the importance of the Word of the Lord. This Word carries out the work of God. Few of God’s children have this concept, as they view God’s work as a Christian work of good deeds. Yesterday we summarized Ephesians, relating that the mystery of God’s will is to make Christ head over all things in heaven and on earth. Christ must be the Head over all things. Unfortunately, this world has been usurped by Satan and lies in the evil one. The world is ruled by the empire of darkness. However, the Lord is using the church to take the earth back under Christ’s government. The church has the mission not only to preach the gospel of grace, but also the gospel of the kingdom. The gospel of the kingdom preaches that Christ should rule our lives. The concept of this gospel is that Christ must head up all things for God’s government to return to the earth. Therefore, in order that Christ may reign over all things, He must reign over the church. When the gospel is preached throughout the inhabited earth, the end will come. Our job is to preach the gospel of the kingdom. It takes a long time for man to understand the gospel of the kingdom. So, with our short “May I Pray for You?” approach, we were able to help people with immediate relief and get books into people’s hands. These books contain the gospel of the kingdom and give an overview of this gospel.

  1. God wants to govern our lives and over each member of the Body of Christ. God wants to fill you with Christ. How can God fill every void? Through the Word of Christ, the prophetic word. Satan, over the centuries, has attacked the prophetic word that gives direction to the churches. This was practically erased by the end of the first century. But, thank God, the Lord is restoring the church in Philadelphia that has unlocked the treasures of the prophetic word so that it can start doing God’s work in our time.

Dt 6:3-6

  1. God had already presented the way to obtain a holy people, which is to listen and carefully keep His Word. Do not keep by human effort. The very Word  gives conditions for the people to keep it. Although there was no reality of this in the Old Testament, today we can have this reality. “Listen carefully to my Words and do them”. Our whole family needs to hear and keep the word of the Lord. If He is our only Lord, we must heed Him alone. Don’t listen to many things or think that God’s word is more of an opinion or alternative. We only have the Lord and what He speaks is order. We must follow and obey His Word. The first evidence is to love the Lord with all our strength, heart and soul. We must love the Lord with all our being. Want to be part of God’s people? You must love Him with all your heart, soul and strength. When we converted, we lived on a honeymoon with the Lord and then we grew cold. How to keep the best love? “These words that I am commanding you today will be on your heart.” The only way for us to have the ability to love the Lord is to have the word of God engraved in our hearts. The Lord’s own word gives us power and ability to love Him. The Lord’s words are not mere information, but come with power and God’s own love. It makes us love the Lord like never before.

Dt 6:7

  1. The first letter in the book of Revelation was to the church in Ephesus. Everything was fine with God, but they were rebuked for abandoning their first love. “I have this against you, that you have abandoned your first love. See where you have fallen and repent, return to the practice of the first works”. How to do this? Engraving the Word in our hearts. To inculcate is to impress or engrave the Lord’s words on our heart through repeated repetition or using something sharp and pointed to engrave on our heart. Our heart is a tablet of flesh for God to engrave. That Word engraved in our hearts is what gives us the power to love the Lord and keep it. It’s not because of our ability. During all these centuries, the people of Israel thought they could fulfill the word of God. They said in Exodus chapter 19, “Whatever the Lord says, we will do.” The people deceive themselves by thinking they have the ability to keep the word of God. The Word itself gives us power and strength to keep it. We need to inculcate the Word in us and keep it in our hearts.

Eph 5:18; Co 3:15

  1. We need to speak the Word among ourselves and repeat it over and over again until it is engraved in our hearts. For this reason, we receive help from several brothers who send us the daily immersion each week so that we can use each other repeatedly in order to engrave it in our hearts. This Word gives strength and power for Christ to dwell in our hearts. The Word of God has power and carries with it His love. What God wants to achieve as an end result is the construction of a fabric of love. God is love like the warp and we love each other like the woof. We are adjusting a well-consolidated fabric for the edification of the church. This is the church bound together, adjusted and consolidated in love. The work is done by the Word. Therefore, we have been practicing immersion in the word. Our teenagers were transformed and left, from a meaningless life, to pull our meetings.

Dt 11:8-10

  1. God wants to bring His people into the good land of Canaan. For you to have strength in order to enter the good land of Canaan, you must keep the commandments of the Lord, the orders of the Lord. It’s not optional, but it’s orders. This good land already represents Christ that God has given us. Each was allotted a portion of the land. Each of us has been allocated a portion of land that is equally precious faith. The apostle Peter shows us that each of us has been given an allotment of land, a portion of equally precious faith, Christ, to be able to till the land and work, in order to enjoy its fruits. For this, we need to keep the word of the Lord. So let us dwell on this good land and prosper. How to water with the foot? In Egypt, that is, in the world, if you want to do a job, you have to do it in order to get results. The land of Egypt depended on the watering of the land. To water you need to do a job. There was probably an instrument invented by the Egyptians that relied on the pedaling of the feet to pump water to crops. You had to pump water through your effort and sweat. You yourself would water the land for you.

Dt 11:11-18

  1. However, in the good land it is not so. The earth, which is Christ, depends on heaven. All you have to do is labor in the Word. This land is the Lord who takes care of it. The Lord is watching over you all the time. From the beginning to the end of the year, God is watching you. As you immerse yourself in the Word, inculcate the Word and hide it in your heart, God will do His work. The only thing for us to do is to diligently obey His commandments, love and record His Word. How will this Word work? It will bring the love of God, it will fill me with love for the Lord and make me serve Him. You don’t need to pedal or water, in the right time. If you keep the Word, the Lord will give rain. The first rains for sowing and the last rains for harvesting. Everything in the right time. Let the Lord take care. As for us, let’s love and keep the Word every day. God takes care of our business. In the past, there were many brethren who were preoccupied with their business all day long. Today we gain the vision to serve the Lord. The Lord gives it to them while they sleep. The Lord will give grass to His cattle. Will not miss. His only requirement is: love the prophetic word and take it to heart.

Dt 11:19-24

  1. “Teach your children, talking about them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you get up.” Teenagers are already practicing this. They lie down listening to the prophetic word and thus are sleeping with God. In the morning, they wake up listening to the Word and doing immersion. Umbrals are the jambs and the lintel of the door, where the Word of the Lord is written. All of this can be accessed through the immersion sheet. The closer you get to God’s word and engrave it in your heart, the closer you get to Him. Our God is not false, like the pagan gods, of whom the people were afraid of their punishment and sacrificed so that the gods would not be angry. Our God is not one of chastisement; on the contrary, He wants us to be very close to Him. If you just keep the word of the Lord, immersing yourself, engraving the word in your heart, God will take care of your enjoyment and prosperity, of your business. Where the soles of our feet step, God will give us that land, that is, we will be conquering that land back to the Lord.

  1. When we go out on the street, we preach the gospel through “May I Pray for You?” and left books containing the gospel of the kingdom, we are conquering the earth for the Lord. In those conditions, where you put the soles of your feet, the Lord will deliver you. In this new phase, we are conquering the earth in Africa, which is entering this way of the gospel of the kingdom and colporting work. The Lord is giving them new oxygen and they are thriving. We set foot in Oceania, a continent that we had not yet set foot on. Now, we are already in Australia, Puerto Rico, Central America, North America and Europe. BookExpo is now in Eastern Europe and has been shown in Hungary, Slovakia, Czechoslovakia, Poland and Ukraine. Where we put the sole of our feet, the Lord will give it to us. However, there is one condition: you must keep and inculcate the Word. When the Lord sets up king in Israel, on the first day of his reign, he needs to transcribe, like our teenagers, a copy of the word of the Lord in a book. This book must be read by him every day of his life and for all time. Only in this way can he reign for God. In the same way, we must love the word of the Lord.

Ac 1

  1. The Lord begat His church on the day of Pentecost, and from then on Jesus appeared for 40 days speaking of the kingdom to the disciples. After the day of Pentecost, Jesus no longer appeared to His disciples, as the church, from that moment on, began to be used as an instrument of God to bring the Word of God that gives the direction of the Spirit. When the Holy Spirit baptized, sending down tongues like fire on those 120 Galileans, those Jews who believed in the Lord Jesus were inserted into one Body. Jesus did not come to earth to form a religion or set up a religious organization. Jesus came to give life. He came like a grain of wheat to die on the cross and to rise again, producing many grains. These many grains are us, the many members of the Body of Christ. He is the head of that Body. On the day of Pentecost, the Holy Spirit baptized people who believed into one Body.

Ac 10

  1. From the house of Cornelius, the Gentiles asked the apostle Peter to speak the word of God. As the apostle Peter spoke, the Holy Spirit also baptized them, marking the entrance of the Gentiles into the same Body. We are living members of the Body of Christ, not a human organization. We need to understand this. As the Body of Christ, we depend on the Head’s supply that comes through the Word.

Eph 1:22-23

  1. In order for God to make Christ head up all things, as He said in verses 9 and 10 of Ephesians chapter 1, both things in heaven and things on earth, He had to use the church, His Body. To head up all things, Christ was first given to the church. This is not a religious institution, but “His Body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.” The church is the Body of Christ and He must first fill it, head it up, and then use it to, by obedience to the Head, introduce all things to the obedience of Christ.

Rm 12:4-5

  1. We are not together in a religious institution. When we look at each other, we need to have the discernment that we are part of the Body of Christ, full of life, in which we are members of each other. As members, each has their role. We need to see that we are members that complement each other. There are no members competing with each other. Do you have any competing members in your body? Does your right hand compete with your left hand? Does your right foot fight with your elbow? No, they all complement each other. It’s no use criticizing the other: why don’t you do what I do? Because each one has its function. What does the body need? What are the vital functions?

Rm 12:6

  1. When it comes to functions, Paul starts with the most important one: prophesying. The primary meaning of a role in the Body of Christ is someone who speaks for God. The footnote of the Recovery Version shows that this prophecy is speaking for God under His direct inspiration. That is the role of the apostle Paul. In Ephesians chapter 3, Paul says that God has commissioned him, through revelation, to be a dispenser of God’s grace. It gave evidence that he was not speaking on his own, but according to the revelation he had received from the Lord. How does the body manage to survive and move? It all depends on the Head who starts using the mouth that speaks for God. Not speaking for God in a generic way, but inspired directly from God, from the Holy Spirit.

Rm 12:7

  1. “Ministry” in this verse is the service that primarily concerns deacons. We have those who prophesy and speak under the direct inspiration of the Holy Spirit and we have those who teach. They are not two competing things. In the footnote of the Recovery Version, we can see that he who teaches does not teach in his own way, but according to the word prophesied under direct inspiration from God. Everything has a line and we don’t have multiple fronts, because everything comes from the Head. He who exhorts, exhorts according to what was prophesied by divine inspiration and according to what was taught. There is one line and one flow. There are no two functions or two competing orders. Therefore, there is no disorder in the church. To prophesy is to speak for God and there are several levels of prophet.

1 Co 14:2-5, 26, 31

  1. When you get together to do immersion, what are you doing? They are prophesying to each other. This prophesying edifies, consoles, and exhorts. At this level of prophecy, all members of the Body of Christ must use. We all can and should prophesy for exhortation and consolation, but this prophesying comes from the same prophetic word that was inspired by God. Do you know why this is important? This direct inspiration from God to His prophet gives direction and brings the leadership of the Holy Spirit to the church. When you have the prophetic word giving direction, it means the Holy Spirit leads the church. Some Watchman Nee books say that the church needs to have the authority of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit exercises his authority in the church through the prophetic word. If that stops, stops the Spirit’s leading and authority in the church. This is what happened in the twenty centuries of church degradation. This point is essential, for the lack of it has brought degradation to the church. Christ must have authority in the church. But in what way? By the Word. How to know if the Word comes from Him? When this Word is confirmed.

1 Co 12:12

  1. The verse should end: “so also concerning the church.” The church is the Body of Christ, it has many members and, even though they are many, they constitute one Body. However, the verse ends with: “so also with regard to Christ”. What is God doing through the flowing river of grace? Supplying the church with His grace, His life, His divine attributes, with the essence of God which is light and love. What is He filling the church with? With the Word and Christ Himself. “Let the Word of Christ richly dwell in you.” In Ephesians, chapter 3, it says, “Let Christ dwell in your hearts.” The work that God is doing through the Word is to give us direction, head authority, filling every member of the Body of Christ through the immersion and inculcation of the Word. The time will come when we will say: “it is no longer I, but Christ”. On that day there will be no more Jew or Greek, male or female, but Christ will be all in all. God is putting Christ in your mind, emotion, and will. He will fill you with Christ until we are filled, even the fullness of God. At that time, the church will be Christ. We are going in this direction, for He is filling us with Christ. He’s doing it through the Word.

1 Co 12:13-14

  1. How was it given to us to drink of one Spirit? Through the Word we are eating, drinking and being filled with Christ. We are not a single member. If everyone wants to be the hand, there will be no body. The body is not made of one member, but of all the members. Sometimes we wish for the role of the other brother. “If I’m not that member, I’m not of the Body.” It is not true; the Lord has given him a function. I value every member of my body. Every member is important to me. An ingrown toenail makes us so uncomfortable, because all members are important. The ear can say that it wants to be the eye, because the eye sees in color and the ear is ugly. It is not you who choose, but God who chooses. If the whole body were an eye, we would be a monster. It’s not your option, it’s not my option. It’s not your choice or my choice. God is the one who puts us in the body where He wants. He knows best.

  1. In ancient Greece, many philosophers appeared with beautiful reflections on life that attracted followers. Paul came to be used as one who spoke the word of God under the direct inspiration of the Holy Spirit. Then came people who, thinking the church was like the world, wanted to compete with Paul. In his Epistles he mentions that he was unworthy, but the least of all saints, for he was a persecutor of the church, when in a terrible manner he put men and women in chains. He really did not consider himself worthy to prophesy for God. Who is usually chosen for this vital position, does not consider himself sufficient for it.

Ex 3:1-14; Jr 1

  1. When Moses was called from the midst of the bush, he was already 80 years old and pasturing his father-in-law’s flock in the desert of Midian. Suddenly, God appeared to him in a bush. When God called him to send him to speak with Pharaoh, Moses thought he didn’t have the slightest condition, for he was heavy-tongued. Generally, the people the Lord calls are those who don’t think they can be used. Also Jeremiah, when he was called, asked the Lord to send another one, for he did not have the capacity. However, the option is not man’s, but God’s. Unfortunately, among men, the one who speaks seems to have greater importance and, therefore, everyone wants to be the mouthpiece and play the role of Paul. So there was a lot of competition.

Nm 12:1-3

  1. Moses’ own brethren were doubting that he had been called to this particular role. They thought that Moses had done something wrong and took the opportunity to vent their dissatisfaction. Does the church only have a prophetic speaking? Does the Lord’s church have only one channel that speaks the prophetic word? Can’t God also use others? “The man Moses was very meek above all men.” Why is this verse inserted here? It doesn’t seem to fit well. This verse shows us that Moses never disputed that place. He never fought for this place, as he wanted to refute the summons. God it is who disposes the members as He pleases. It is up to us to obey and be faithful in what the Lord has given us as a function. The Lord will bless us.

Ex 33

  1. I accompanied Brother Dong through all the years of his ministry. You have no idea of the amount of suffering of those ahead. It takes “stoned”, criticism, gossip. He suffered persecution and all sorts of things. I said to the Lord: “Far from me, take this cup away from me”. I saw Brother Dong’s suffering as everything fell on him. You guys make up a rallying cry that someone doesn’t like, blame it on me. You do something that someone doesn’t like, the blame is on me. I don’t want to be in this place, but I don’t have a choice. I seek only to be faithful to the Lord. I also trust in the Lord, for He gives me rest. “My presence will go with you and I will give you rest.” That alone reassured me. So don’t dispute, just accept where the Lord has placed you. Just as a hand and a mouth are faithful to their function, the member of the Body of Christ who is faithful will receive a reward.

Nm 12:6

  1. Besides Moses, there are other prophets. As far as God’s people, who are God’s house, are concerned, He has only one faithful servant who takes the lead. “Not so with my servant Moses, for he is faithful over all my house.” About prophesying what God wants for your life, you can speak freely. However, to give direction to the church, we have one source, one line of leadership. The author of Hebrews says the same thing: Christ, as a high priest of the order of Melchizedek, is faithful in the house of God. He has leadership in the house of God. In the Old Testament, Moses had the leadership of God’s people, and in the New Testament, the Lord uses specific people to give the leadership of the Holy Spirit.

Nm 9:23; 2 Tm 2:2

  1. This phrase, “According to the Lord’s command,” means “the mouth of the Lord.” According to the mouth of the Lord, the people of God moved, marched and had a direction. At the command of the Lord, the people stopped. All this is done by the mouth of the Lord. Who is the mouth of the Lord? Did a big mouth appear from the sky? Moses was the channel to represent the mouth of God, in order to give order to the people. With regard to God’s people, the church, God has one word and is represented by this channel. This channel is not just individual. This channel has an individual origin, but it has a collective extension. Thank God! We have many prophets in each region of the work. Many brothers here are prophets and are the extension of the mouth of the Lord. They speak what the mouth of the Lord speaks. We are one and nothing is added, nothing is taken away. “That same thing he transmits to faithful and suitable men who are capable of transmitting it to others also in a faithful way”. These are part of that collective mouth. We have brothers who are prophets in various regions of the work to take the word of God throughout the earth.

Hb 1:1-2; Jn 14:10; 15:20; 2 Pt 1:19

  1. God has always spoken. When God speaks, His work is accomplished. God has spoken by the Son and continues to speak by Him. The apostle Paul said that he was an apostle of Christ Jesus. Christ is in charge. The Son speaks through a channel, a man. Just like Jesus, when he was on earth, he didn’t speak His own words. He had no right to speak His Own Words, just like a prophet who receives direct inspiration from God. The word that Jesus spoke did not come from Him, but from the Father, and when Jesus spoke, the Father’s work was done. That’s what’s happening today. The Lord uses the Word to inspire His prophets. It is the Spirit of Truth that inspires and has authority over the church. Until the Lord comes at His second coming, the morning star does not come. We live in a night of dense darkness. In the dark night, Jesus has not yet come to enlighten us. Who gives us direction in a dark place? The prophetic word is like a lamp, like a lamp that shines before us and gives us direction. Those who follow the prophetic word will arrive at dawn. The morning star will rise in your heart. Those who follow the prophetic word will get there. These will experience the secret coming of the Lord, for only the overcomers have this privilege.

HISTORICAL PART

  1. In the second century, with the death of John, no apostle emerged to give direction to the church, through the word inspired by the Spirit. Thus, the lamp, the prophetic word, ended. So they invented a way for the church not to be without leadership. When there was prophetic word, there was leading of the Spirit through the apostle. Paul says that God has given the church first of all the apostles. The apostles lead through the prophetic word that is inspired by the Holy Spirit. When the prophetic word ceases, leadership ceases. How terrible it is to have no direction. Imagine, leaving this conference, not knowing which direction to take. It makes you desperate. Thank God, we have direction through the prophetic word.

  1. Apostolic fathers are those who had some contact with the apostles in the first century. They proposed the rule of bishops. This is the first episcopate that arose in the church. Church leaders should meet to define the direction of the churches. Paul had taught that the elders were at the head of the churches. How to gather the elders of all the churches? It’s a very complicated logistics. Therefore, they suggested electing a leader from among the elders who would be called a bishop, as if they were above the elders. However, this is not so in the Word of God.

Ac 20:17, 28

  1. Paul sent for the elders of the church at Ephesus to Miletus, and when they had gathered together, he called them bishops whom the Holy Spirit had made to shepherd the flock of God. Who are the presbyters or elders? They are the most mature people among the saints in that city. Why are they called bishops? Bishop in Greek is episkopos. Epis means “about” and kopos means “to look” and can best be translated as “supervision”. The bishop has the function of overseeing the church, while the elder is his person, someone more mature among the saints. He’s exactly the same person. However, they invented this hierarchy where the bishops are superior to the presbyters. This ended up damaging the church. Here arose the first notion of hierarchy in the church. The bishops became, in hierarchy, superior to the presbyters. Man’s problem is the dispute over who is first, for he loves primacy. The natural man loves primacy, power, first place. Sadly, these men created the hierarchy by damaging the church.

Rv 2:6, 15

  1. Thus arose the work of the Nicolaitans. The church at Ephesus had not allowed this doctrine to enter. However, in the church in Pergamum it became a teaching. Nicolaitan comes from the Greek “Nikolaites”. Young people like to wear the Nike sneaker brand. Nike comes from niko, which means victory, dominion over. Laites means common people, lay people. Nicolaitans are a group of people who rule over the common people. A higher category has emerged that does not exist in the Bible.

  1. As if the absence of the leadership of the apostles through the prophetic word inspired by the Spirit was not enough, the adoption of the hierarchy brought damage to the church and the so-called apostolic fathers soon moved away from the teaching of the apostles, completely forgetting the government of the Holy Spirit in the church. This is serious. When the church no longer has the leading of the Holy Spirit through the prophetic word, it is all over. The clergy began to have high privileges and demanded more and more honors and the granting of first place to bishops. Power, with its attendant privileges, titles, and authority were Satan’s weapons which he used to destroy the pure, heavenly nature of the church. These exerted a great fascination on the futile human nature. People who cause trouble in the church often have dissatisfaction behind them and unfulfilled ambitions. At the first opportunity that arises, these people rebel. Unfortunately, man has this tendency. God never distributed offices in the church.

Ac 2:20-23; Mt 13:33

  1. To summarize church history down to the period of the church in Thyatira, the hierarchy developed into papal rule over the church. There was dispute between the bishops about who is the greatest, thus the archbishops emerged. These dispute and the cardinals appear. There is a dispute among the cardinals and popes arise, because at that time there was not just one pope. Thus was formed a papal system established in the church at Thyatira. Therefore, the church in Thyatira was compared to Jezebel who claimed to be a prophetess who spoke for God. What blasphemy! It’s terrible what this woman did in the church period in Thyatira.

Mt 13:33; Rv 17:1-2

  1. In Matthew 13, verse 33, Jezebel is the woman who put a little leaven in three measures of flour. The church is a pure, unleavened lump of pure wheat. Christ is the grain of wheat and we are the grains that were born from Him. However, this woman Jezebel put in leaven, and a little leaven leavens the whole lump. That leaven is the evil, heretical, and pagan teachings that have been added to the word of God. She is the great harlot, with whom the kings of the earth fornicated, and with the wine of her lewdness those who were on the earth were made drunk. This woman became tremendously rich with the kings of the earth, for they were conniving. The kings of the earth levied taxes on the church in Thyatira as well. One took advantage of the influence of the other. All this will be charged. Many, like the Albigenses, for loving the word of God, fought against the errors of this church. They were inhabitants of the city of Albi, located in the Languedoc region, southern France. The followers of Pedro Valdo, from the city of Lyon, France, were greatly persecuted and cowardly killed, in addition to being labeled as heretics by the army of the papacy that carried out the crusade and the inquisition that followed. It was terrible.

  1. Pedro Valdo was the initiator of the colporting work. Our colporteurs came up thanks to him. The word “col” in French refers to the “neck” and “porter” is something you “carry around”, like a purse. It’s like having a purse with a strap that hangs around your neck. They put the bag inside the clothes. Pedro Valdo, in Lyon, hired Bible translators to translate it into their mother tongue, Franco-Provencal. He had the four gospels and other books of the Bible translated. They had copies, hand-copied manuscripts, tucked inside the pouch around their necks. They were clothing merchants, but their intention was to preach the gospel. When they realized that people were under ignorance regarding the word of God and living under the superstition imposed by the church in Thyatira, they would go and read the Scriptures. These are forerunners of our colporteurs. Today, we are on the streets to spread the Word. Today, everyone has the Bible, but who understands it? Through our books, we are bringing the revelation of the Word. We are the Waldensians and colporteurs of today. The Waldenses were cowardly exterminated and their properties were taken by the papal hierarchy. They were burned alive, tortured and accused of heresy.

  1. The teaching of Jezebel, who presumes to be a prophetess, seduces her servants to practice prostitution. The sacraments are rules defined by this prophetess. Today, Sunday, we break bread and we have two elements on the table: bread and the chalice. Through the teachings of Jezebel, the doctrine of transubstantiation was invented. This heresy claims that when the priest takes the elements of the Supper and pronounces the words of consecration, these elements are truly transformed into the body and blood of Christ. The people believed that. By superstition, people participated in the Eucharist in order to receive the body and blood of Jesus. Only the priest had the power to transform. This is pure lie.

  1. Doctrine of Purgatory: they invented that there is an intermediate state between heaven and hell. Jezebel’s teaching advocated that the day a person was excommunicated by the church, after death, he would go straight to hell, with no right to salvation. Only when you maintain fellowship with this church can you still guarantee salvation with the possibility of going to heaven. They were terrified of being excommunicated. Even kings feared excommunication. This was maintained by superstition and ignorance. They created purgatory where, after death, you would have to go through to purge your little sins before going to heaven. This is all to keep people scared.

  1. When Martin Luther carried out the reformation, he showed that justification does not come by paying penances to alleviate the suffering of purgatory. Penance was paid in the form of fasting, vigil, procession, prayers and even cash payment. All of this was revenue raised by the church. The time came when the pope sold indulgences. The pope had the authority to send you straight to hell or straight to heaven. This was an abuse of the people’s ignorance. Thus, a feeling of revolt arose in those who began to gain a little light. This is to give you an idea of where the church has come. All this happened because of the absence of the prophetic word. Cherish and praise God for the prophetic word. Therefore, Satan wants to attack the prophetic word. Will he lead us back into this darkness? No! He will lose his kingdom. The prophetic word will lead us to overcome and we will conquer this territory for God through the preaching of the gospel and the church. Let’s make Christ head up all things. God is forming a great army of holy youth. Starting with our teenagers, youth and all the brethren who are willing to preach the gospel, do colporting, take care of people and follow the prophetic word. To the overcomer, the Lord will give the reward of reigning with Christ for a thousand years.

Jesus is Lord!
