1. Nothing in the church is done without the headship of Christ or to seek honor and glory from men. Everything is
to contribute to the edification of the church and for God to do His will and complete what He needs to accomplish
in this age through us. Nothing is done with the purpose of exalting a person, a talent, or a human ability (Eph
3:20-21).
2. Obedience to the word of the Lord is producing an army that believes in the prophetic word with simplicity and
carries out the work of God with the blessing of the Spirit. Thanks be to God! We have weapons that are not in
the carnal sphere, but the heavenly; they are the Word of God. These weapons are capable of taking every
thought captive to the obedience of Christ. (1 Corinthians 10:3-6)
3. Simplicity, love for the Word, and obedience produce for God in an environment without resistance to His will.
The good side of our soul offers a lot of resistance to what God wants to do; it operates through our opinions,
which hinder what God wants to do. At the end of time, the Lord needs to cleanse all disobedience that is in our
soul-life (Mt 16:21-23; Mk 8:34-36)
4. “When our mind is renewed, it submits to the spirit and becomes the “spirit of our mind.” Thus, we cease to live
in the old man (…). In this renewal process, God gave us a great gift: immersion in the prophetic word! This path
is fast and short! Once renewed, our mind yields to the spirit, and the Lord finds a way open to the rest of our
soul (Eph. 4:22-23)” (Daily Food, Book 3, Week 3, Monday, p. 42)
