- The vision of Revelation 12 was first spoken by brother Dong Yu Lan in 1999. He saw in the world map: a dragon, an eagle landing in the desert, and the African continent like a fetus in development. Then, the Lord gave him a strong burden as of the year 2000: to enter Africa so as to intensely preach the gospel of the kingdom in order to complete the number of the overcomers on that continent as well (Rev 12:1-6).
- The book of Revelation is the revelation of Jesus Christ. The revelation contained in chapters 1-11 are related the situation after the ascension of Christ up to eternity. John was called up to heaven to behold the scene in heaven. Everything that would take place up to eternity was also opened up to him (Rev 1:1; 4:1).
- Chapter 12 of Revelation begins to deal with the major events that will occur during the great tribulation. This chapter is important because it begins to layout this story. It shows how the great tribulation will begin, which is a period of three and a half years during this age (Rev 12:13-17).
- “Without life, we need outward rules to direct us, but if we make the right choice, life itself will govern us (Deut 30:19) (Daily Food, Book 3, Week 2, Tuesday, pgs. 26-27).
