- God does not need man to serve Him according to his own ability. Christ is the power and wisdom of God. The Lord wants to eliminate our old man and give us a new beginning through His resurrection. May He have the freedom in us! (1 Cor. 1:18-25; Rom. 1:16).
- In our days, in the New Testament, God does everything through the Spirit, in the power of God. Nothing is done by human wisdom, ability, or technique, but only by the power of God, through the word. Let us trust in the word! If we go back to trusting in our own ability, we will be nullifying the cross of Christ (1 Cor 2:1-5; 1:17, 26-29).
- We need to hear the word of Christ, not just in any way, but to listen carefully and engrave it on our hearts. We need to listen properly, diligently, to put into action what He commands. God will do the rest as we listen carefully to His word (Ex 19:4-6).
- “We all need the word of the Lord to circulate among us. In practice, this happens when we live in the church life, serving together with our brothers and sisters and going out into the streets to preach the gospel”. (Col 3:16) (Daily Food, Book 6, Week 1, Tuesday, p. 9).
