1. The presence of the Lord must accompany us. Only then can we take possession of the Earth. When the presence of the Lord is with us, the arduous battle becomes rest. We work hard, but with the presence of the Lord everything becomes rest, because it is He who does things (Exodus 33:13; 12-14).
2. We are the church in Philadelphia; we do not have the strength to enter the good land, but the presence of the Lord is with us. He has set before us an open door. We keep the word of the Lord, which works effectively in those who believe. As we closely follow the word that is living and effective, it gives us guidance and places us in the line of the tree of life (Hebrews 4:12; Revelation 3:7-8).
3. We are in the lineage of the firstborn to do God’s will through the Lord’s blessing, not through our own skill. The blessing comes through the Spirit, which comes through the word of the Lord. We are the workers of the last hour. Let us be those who lead the people into the good land of Canaan (Acts 7:14).
4. “Even though there are pressures and sufferings, we must love what God loves, value what God values. Let us dedicate our lives to serving the Lord and doing His will. You will never regret it” (Daily Food, book 9, week 4, Sunday, p. 72).
