- How will God raise up a winning team in the New Testament period? For the church to be a winner, it must know that the word of the apostles gives the Spirit. This has been the essential point that has helped us thus far: receiving the Spirit by hearing with faith, not by practicing the law (Gal. 3:1-2).
- What is the hearing of faith? The translation into Portuguese is “preaching of faith” (Gal. 3:2). In Spanish, this expression is better translated as “hearing with faith.” The hearing of faith includes having an ear to hear what the Spirit says to the churches, believing that the word received comes from God, and inculcating this word.
- The practice of the hearing of faith has brought much of God’s supernatural power to us. This hearing is not limited to the physical ear, the auditory organ, but is situated in the sphere of faith, being an auditory organ of faith. The exercise of our subjective faith gives us greater clarity about the hearing of faith. The hearing of faith brings us closer to the word of the apostles, encouraging us to immerse ourselves in it, settling the truth of God in our hearts, because we have received the Spirit (Gal 3:5).
- Attaining full Sonship implies our complete salvation: the salvation of our spirit, our soul, and the redemption of our mortal body (Rom. 8:23) (Daily Food, Book 4, Week 2, Friday, p. 31).
