- God is waiting for a group of people He can call His. They are fighting for what is on God’s heart: the Kingdom. There are people the Father has given to the Son to do God’s will in the church—those who have kept God’s word (John 17:6-9).
- The Lord showed us that the essence of building the church is to love one another. He said this in the absence of Judas, because He wants those with pure hearts, who do not trust in themselves, who love the word, and who trust in the power of the word. Thus, the Lord does all the work (John 13:30-35).
- No one can remain unfruitful or inactive. Through God’s longsuffering, He waits for each of us. Let us wake up and get involved! God desires all men to be saved and come to the full knowledge of the truth, but for this to happen we need to believe in the one who has been sent. This is the right way (2 Pet 1:8; 3:8; 1 Tim 2:4).
- “Thanks be to the Lord; He has spoken to us in a living way. We have a voice of command, and therefore we are blessed. We have the prophetic speaking, the word of life, which produces the fellowship of life, nourishes us, and gives us life. This life takes us out of death and leads us to love our brothers and sisters” (1 John 1:1 3; 2 Peter 2:19) (Daily Food, Book 3, Sem. 1, Friday, p. 16).
