- Today, God wants to bless all the families of the earth — that was the promise given to Abraham and his descendant, Christ. Abraham’s blessing is the promised Spirit, who has come to us! (Acts 3: 24 26; Gal. 3:14).
- We need to have the same heart as Peter: not to mix anything of the Law with the dispensation of faith. We must be firm and bold in preaching the death and resurrection of Christ, so that His work may be accomplished on earth (Acts 4:8-12).
- The church needs to be filled with the Spirit at all times. How do we get filled with the Spirit? Through the Word — through immersion, transcription, and “war cries.” All of these tools keep us filled with the Spirit. Without them, God cannot use us. Do you want to be used by God? Then, walk in the Spirit (Acts 4: 7-8).
- “The salvation that religion preaches is for a few. But the salvation and righteousness that come through faith are for everyone who believes in the name of Jesus and confesses it, calling on Him” (Rom 10:13) (Daily Food, book 1, week 4, Friday, p. 67).
