DAILY IMMERSION IN THE PROPHETIC WORD Monday | Mess. 28 – Looking for and Hastening the Coming of the Day of God

  1. Jesus said, “I am the true vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit.” He compared the church to a vine, a plant. The larger branches support the new branches, which sprout and bear much fruit. We are here so that this “vine” may bear fruit and that the Lord can return (John 15:5, 8).

  1. The Lord compared the Spirit to flowing rivers of living waters. Since water makes up the majority of blood, it is a vehicle that carries nutrients and oxygen to the cells of the body and flushes out toxins. Thus the Spirit and the Word are for flowing among the members of the Body of Christ. Thank God, His Word comes to us in the vehicle of the rivers of “living waters,” the Spirit (John 7:37-38; 15:3).

  1. When God raised up teenagers full of energy and thirsty for the Word, they began to write things down, immerse themselves in the Word, and sleep and wake up with God. This thirst turned into a pressure that suctions. The more people who thirst for the Word and follow Him closely, the more nutrients will reach all regions (1 Peter 2:2).

  1. “We must love one another, as the Lord has loved us. This was the message the disciples heard from the beginning, and it is the greatest message of Jesus, which shows the result of the working of the word of life and the fellowship of life in one who believes” (John 13:34-35) (Daily Food, Book 3, Week 1, Monday, p. 6).
