DAILY IMMERSION IN THE PROPHETIC WORD Monday | Msg. 02 – In the Beginning, God Created the Heavens and the Earth

1. After the vigorous beginning of the church life in Jerusalem, some arose who wanted to return to the practice of the Law and opposed the word of the apostles. This affected the environment of the church. Then the Lord, through the second letter of Peter, exhorts us to remember the words spoken by the apostles (Acts 15: 5; 2 Pet 3: 1-2).

2. In Paul’s letter to the Galatians, we see that the beginning of the nation of Israel did not come from Moses, but from Abraham, the father of faith, because he believed God. This was credited to him as righteousness, and he received the promise of being heir of the world together with his seed, who is Christ (Gal. 3 :6; Rom. 4:13).

3. Time exists so that God’s will may be accomplished. It has a beginning and an end. When God has accomplished His will within time, time itself will cease. God is the One who begins and ends. And what is God’s will? It is to make Christ the Head over all things (Rev. 21: 6; Eph. 1: 9-10).

4. “God is pleased when we keep His word fully. Otherwise, we will be rejected. The blessing is in believing the word with simplicity… The Lord will be able to use us as channels to bless all the families of the earth” (1 Sam. 15:22; Gal. 3: 6; Gen. 12: 3) (Daily Food, Book 2, Week 4, Monday, p. 57).
