DAILY IMMERSION IN THE PROPHETIC WORD Monday | Msg. 16 – If I Still Preach Circumcision, Then the Offense of the Cross Has Ceased

  1. Thank the Lord for all that He has done in our midst. In Ephesians, we read that the Father has a longing. This longing is His good pleasure, that something He aspires to or desires. is, The Son causes the Father’s will to prosper and, as the Word, utters God’s voice of command. Then, the Holy Spirit, by His power, executes it according to the Father’s will (Eph 1:1-13).

  1. We must receive the word as God’s commanding voice, and not just hear it as a message, in order to gain biblical knowledge. We need to seek between the lines to find out what “the sigh of the Father’s heart” is, in other words, what His intent in sending us His word is (Eph. 1:5; 2 Sam. 23:14-16).

  1. What is the mystery of the Father’s will? For Christ to head up all things, both in heaven and on Earth. God’s will is that at the end of time Christ head up and govern all things in the universe (Eph 1:9-10).

  1. “In the church life in Jerusalem, as described at the beginning of the Book of Acts, there was no strife among members or competition for leadership. Everyone followed the leading of the Spirit through the word of the apostles” (Acts 2:42-47) (Daily Food, Book 1, Week 2, Monday, p. 24).
