DAILY IMMERSION IN THE PROPHETIC WORD Monday | Msg. 20 – God’s Covenant with Noah

1. When we have a heart willing to love the Lord’s word and purpose, He begins to open up possibilities and alternatives in time for us to serve Him. Those who commit themselves will not be disappointed by dedicating more time to the Lord. There will be no other generations for the Lord to count on—we are the last generation, the workers of the last hour. It is us that the Lord counts on. Let us surrender ourselves so that He can accomplish His work in us and through us (Deuteronomy 6:5; Matthew 20:1 16).

2. God preserved Noah’s family so that His will could be accomplished. Without man, God’s will cannot be accomplished. Many people do not believe that human beings are at the center of God’s will. However, the heavens were created for the Earth, and the Earth exists for man. Man, in turn, exists to fulfill God’s will—that is why God put the spirit in man (Genesis 9:1).

3. Therefore, if there is no man, God cannot accomplish His will. And God’s will is for Christ to be the Head over all things, both in heaven and on Earth. Time exists for God’s will to be accomplished. The day Christ becomes Head over all things; there will be no more need for time (Eph. 1:9-10).

4. “[…] the existence of time has the purpose of bringing about the fulfillment of God’s will, and when that will is accomplished, time will cease, for it has a beginning and an end. […] means that everything God needed to do was completed within the time He had created, according to His good pleasure. Just as it began, time reaches its fullness, that is, its end” (Rev 21:10; Gen 1:1; Eph 1:5) (Daily Food, book 1, week 2, Monday, p. 23).
