- Let us continue to live by faith! Let us not trust in our flesh, nor think that by our own ability we will be justified and please God. Our path to the Lord’s return is through faith in the word: believing and obeying (Hab 2:4; Rom 1:17; Heb 10:38-39).
- Christ became a curse in our place, hanging on a tree for us, in order to redeem us from the curse of the law, because no man is able to do all things written in the Book of the Law of God (Gal 3:13; Deut 21:23).
- Once we have been rescued from the curse of the law, we have access, in Christ, to the blessing that God promised to Abraham. God’s plan is complete! That is why God said to Abram: “I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great. You will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and in you all the families of the earth will be blessed” (Genesis 12:2-3).
- “God has bestowed all these things upon us and has concentrated them in the like precious faith which we have received as a portion of the good land” (2 Pet. 1:1,3-7) (Daily Food, Book 6, Week 2, Saturday, p. 35).
