DAILY IMMERSION IN THE PROPHETIC WORD Saturday | Msg. 05 – The Restoration of the Earth: The Third Day and the Fourth Day

1. On the fourth day, God created the light-bearers with a concrete, intense, and well-directed light, whose purpose was to illuminate and govern. God created the sun to govern the day and the moon to govern the night. Everything God does is based on a principle of government. Everything has dominion, and God, the Creator, rules over all (Gen. 1:14-19; Ps. 103:19).

2. In the spiritual realm, Christ is the rising Sun from on high, who visited us at His first coming to give light to those who sat in darkness and to guide them to the way of peace. At His second coming, He will come as the Sun of righteousness, bringing healing in His wings —that is, in His rays, which heal people of death and unrighteousness (Mal. 4:2; Matt. 4:16).

3. Once enlightened by the light of the world, we must follow Jesus. The light of the first day is diffuse —it reveals our sin. But the light of the fourth day is vital—it gives life. We must follow the sun, even though its light burns and scorches, for through it we receive life. Therefore, it is necessary to follow Him closely through the Word (John 8:12; Matthew 16:24; Rev. 14:4).

4. “We are children of grace; the gospel brought us the grace of God and gave birth to us. We have been born from above, we are the heavenly offspring of Abraham, as numerous as the stars in the heaven. We are children of the free woman, ready to take possession of the promise through the Spirit, the blessing of Abraham” (Gal. 4:21-31) (Daily Food, book 3, week 3, Saturday, p. 53).
