DAILY IMMERSION IN THE PROPHETIC WORD Saturday | Msg. 14 – Works of the Flesh and the Fruit of the Spirit

  1. The works of the flesh and the works of the law are on the same earthly level, but God wants to take us to the realm of the spirit, where He is. The practice of the law generates discord, criticism, and destruction, but the practice of living in the spirit results in love (Gal. 5:14-18; 1 Cor. 15:45; 1 John 4:7-8, 12).

  1. The flesh produces human works; the Spirit produces fruit. The Spirit works with life and gives life. The nature we receive from God is love. Love is God Himself, He is self-giving. The self-giving of the Son of God to us is the ultimate representation of love. This love frees us from the flesh and from sin (1 John 4:8-9).

  1. We need to continue walking in the spirit individually and collectively. In everything we do in our daily lives, we must be connected to the spirit, but also together in the church we must walk as an army, obeying a single command and direction (Gal 5:16, 25-26).

  1. “When the door of the ark was closed, there was no way to protect against the flood. God is longsuffering! Let us seize the opportunity, for the door is still open! Let us enter! For us, the ark is the church. Let us enter and have an intense church life, in resurrection, seven days a week” (Matthew 24:38-39) (Daily Food, Book 7, Week 4, Saturday, p. 69).
