DAILY IMMERSION IN THE PROPHETIC WORD Saturday | Msg. 18 – The Pressure from Those Who Promote Circumcision to Avoid Persecution

  1. Today we do not need to keep the Law to be saved. The name of Jesus is what gives salvation. But be careful! Spiritual blindness, attachment to privileges, and involvement in everyday occupations — even lawful ones — can prevent the Spirit from working changes in us (Acts 4: 9-26; Ps 2: 1-3).
  1. The church must have authority and boldness to proclaim the word of God. The church that is governed by the Spirit has oneness and unity. The word puts us on the same frequency, in the same phase and in the same direction (Acts 4: 29-32).
  1. Even if we are persecuted or mistreated, we must continue to preach the gospel of the Kingdom with boldness. We cannot deny the name of Jesus. Let us not be afraid! (Acts 5: 12-14, 17-21, 29-33).
  1. “God needs the church in Philadelphia to accomplish His will and bring back His kingdom; it is modeled after the early church in Jerusalem, when it was guided by persevering in the apostles’ teaching and fellowship” (Acts 2:42) (Daily Food, book 1, week 4, Saturday, p. 70).
