- God called Moses when he already considered himself incapable of doing the Lord’s work. God had prepared this vessel for this work. The man God chooses is not always the most eloquent or has good oratory skills; however, God will put the words in his mouth, and he represents God when he speaks (Ex 3:10-12; Acts 5:12).
- Satan’s strategy is to shut God’s mouth, to silence the voice of the prophets. The prophetic word has the power to accomplish God’s work. If Satan can silence it, the work will be paralyzed. Let us not be those who stop God’s work (Acts 7:39-43).
- God needs to raise up prophets in every age to speak the word, and when the word is received, God’s work will happen. Through the hearing of faith, we will bring the Lord back, build the church, and preach the gospel of the kingdom throughout the inhabited earth. Let us restore the power of the Spirit through the word! (Mark 16:15).
- “[…] It depends on our heart, on our attitude toward the word of life, the fellowship of life. If we refuse all this, we certainly will not have been chosen. […] Let us live, from now on, always before the Lord, in the circulation of life, where He can work in us, making us living and useful stones for His edification! (1Pe 2:5) (Daily Food, Book 4, Week 01, Sunday, page 21).
