DAILY IMMERSION IN THE PROPHETIC WORD Sunday | Mess. 11 – Hagar and Sarah: Two Covenants

  1. Anyone who enters a church meeting realizes that things are simple there: there are no grandiose displays. We are simply men who are there for spiritual nourishment, which may seem boring to the natural man. However, we have the grace that came through the promise. Our joy is greater, because we are children of the promise (Gal 4:27-28).

  1. After Abraham’s failed attempt to help God by human effort by fathering Ishmael, God appeared to Abraham and said, “I am God Almighty; walk before Me and be perfect”. Abraham believed in the God who gives life to the dead and calls into existence the things that do not exist (Romans 4:17,18).

  1. We live under the freedom of grace to fully enjoy the promised Spirit until we inherit the blessing as children who are heirs of God. Let us follow the Spirit and continue practicing the hearing of faith, so that the Lord may have freedom to perform miracles and carry out the work until we receive the Lord’s inheritance: to reign with Christ for a thousand years (Gal. 4:31; 5:1; 4:7).

  1. “Today, we have the opportunity to be filled with divine reality. We just need to heed the prophetic word, continue immersing ourselves in the word, and apply the tools we have to advance the gospel. Through immersion, we allow the word of God to be engraved in our hearts” (2 Pet. 1:19; Deut. 6:6 7) (Daily Food, Book 7, Semester 1, Sunday, p. 20).
