DAILY IMMERSION IN THE PROPHETIC WORD Sunday | Mess. 7 – Works of the Law or Hearing of Faith

  1. We are children of God and should be guided by the Spirit and not by human logic. This Spirit is Christ Himself. We may experience suffering today for following the Lord, but these sufferings cannot be compared to what God has prepared for us (Rom 8:14, 17-18; 1 Cor 2:9).

  1. God grants the Spirit Who performs miracles. There is no point in trying to perform miracles; God Himself performs them. Miracles, wonders, and signs are not for mere display; they are to accomplish God’s work; and for Him to grant us the Spirit, we must hear with faith (Ac 2:22, 43; 5:12-15).

  1. Let us never depart from the model of the early church: Persevering in the apostles’ teaching and in fellowship. This is how miracles and signs happen. Let us trust that the word we receive and inculcate in our hearts has the power to do God’s work. Let us never again trust in our own ability (Ac 2:42 43).

  1. “The path to blessing is to follow in the footsteps of Jesus, who did not consider equality with God something to be grasped. Instead, he emptied Himself, taking the form of a servant and becoming obedient to the point of death. Therefore, God highly exalted Him and gave Him the name that is above every name” (Phil 2:5-11) (Daily Food, Book 6, Week 1, Sunday, p. 20).
