DAILY IMMERSION IN THE PROPHETIC WORD Sunday | Msg. 22 – The Calling of Abraham

1. In every stage of life, we are faced with choices. If we want God’s blessing, let us choose God’s House; but if we choose the easy life of the world—the same one the “Canaanites” around us choose—we will reap a curse, and the result will be a heap of ruins. Let us choose to serve the Lord in God’s House! (Deuteronomy 30:19; Mark 9:35; Col. 3:23-24).

2. Our posture should always be that of a sinner forgiven by the blood of the Lamb of God, living by faith, obedient to His word, and fighting for the kingdom of God. We depend on the Lord every moment; therefore, we call upon His name at all times. O Lord Jesus! (Rom 3:23-24; Matt 6:33; 11:12; Jer 33:2 3).

3. May the Lord always help us make the right choice! Let us serve Him by paying attention to, following, obeying, and carrying out His word. This way, we will be on the path to choosing the blessing and building the House of God (Deuteronomy 30:19; 1 Peter 4:7-11; Psalm 132:3-5).

4. “We should all have hearts like Abraham’s, who sought nothing for himself on this Earth. Abraham, even though he had God’s promise to inherit Canaan, never obtained even an inch of that land and never complained, for he aspired to the heavenly homeland (Heb. 11:8-10).” (Daily Food, book 1, week 4, Sunday, p. 72).
