- God has called a people to hear His voice. He is the Only Living God who speaks. That is why the Bible is not a dead text. God uses the Bible to speak to us in a living way (Ex 19:5-6; Heb 3:7-14).
- All the earth is the Lord’s. If all the earth belongs to God, everyone should do His will. But the people of the earth are not God’s property; on the contrary, they worship idols. God’s purpose in making Israel His own was to regain all the earth through them (Psa 24:1; Ex 19:5; 1 Pet 2:9-10).
- Everything was made to do God’s will, but that is not a reality today. We need to be humble and have a heart that loves the word of God. The word we receive from Christ makes God feel at home in the church. This word makes Christ dwell in our hearts. (Eph 3:17; Jer15:16).
- By believing in Jesus, we have received eternal life and have been brought into the fellowship of life. From then on, we can live by God’s life and thus do His will (1 John 1:1-2; 5:11). (Daily Food, Book 3, Week 3, Thursday, p. 48).
